Hi, I know that this is very late in the game but maybe not too late. We (the pkg-libvirt team) are maintaining libvirt 0.10.X releases in experimental since quiet some time. We've been using it heavily also.
The main reason why it would make sense to have 0.10.2 in a Debian stable release is the fact that upstream is maintaining a long term bugfix branch for that version: http://libvirt.org/git/?p=libvirt.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/v0.10.2-maint Libvirt provides versioned symbols and a backward compatible API so I'd expect no breackage. So any chance to get 0.10.2 into wheezy? Note that this would also include a newer netcf currently also uploaded to experimental only.
