Sure. Samuel, I have read in the #694789 bug log that it may be the same bug as #679105. I think I have proposed a minimal patch that apparently fixes #679105 (see message #19 in that bug's log). I'd like to see this bugfix in Wheezy. May you please test this patch and confirm if it fixes #697639 for you?
