I would be happy with many kinds of reply other than an ack, for example: * "What this most needs is more testing. I know you have tested it, but I haven't had time to test it myself. I should have some in the next month and do not think this should roll out to s-p-u until then." Or: * "I have reviewed patches cs-sparse-file and it-stray-N and started to review xz-lvv-invalid-free but didn't finish. The description above the '---' was confusing; maybe a clearer summary would make it easier." Or: * "That's way too many patches. Please pick 5, test again, and re-upload, and we can try to get the rest in later." Or: * "I don't think squeeze is worth supporting any more except for security issues, given that wheezy is being released so soon. Do any of the above patches have security impact?" Or, really, anything but silence. Basically I selfishly want a feeling of progress. Also if there is anything I can do to help with stable maintenance (e.g., patches to review), please don't hesitate to let me know. That goes always, not just when I want something from the SRMs. ;-) Thanks, Jonathan -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
