Hi, we'd like to upload the last bits of GNOME 3.8 This involves a library transition for gnome-desktop: libgnome-desktop-3-2 → libgnome-desktop-3-7 and mutter: libmutter0 → libmutter0b I recompiled the rdeps of gnome-desktop and mutter and the following packages failed to build: gnome-settings-daemon_3.4.2+git20121218.7c1322 gnome-control-center_3.4.3.1-5 gnome-panel_3.4.2.1-6 nautilus_3.4.2-2 Backporting the fixes for gnome-desktop 3.8 or mutter 3.8 is not really feasible for the packages above so we would like to update them to 3.8 instead. Since those packages are interlinked via Breaks, e.g. in gsettings-desktop-schemas, we basically need to update all the remaining parts of GNOME 3.8 in one go, that includes: mutter nautilus gsettings-desktop-schemas gnome-shell gnome-shell-extensions gnome-settings-daemon gnome-session gnome-control-center gnome-desktop gdm (not quite sure how to express that via ben). This is a pretty self-contained transition with all packages aside from cinnamon and nemo being under the pkg-gnome team maintainenance, and those two package can be binNMUed just fine. It would be great if we can start the transition at your earliest convenience.
