Um, a binary package on any release arch stalls migration, I think. Did you say that based on the Britney excuses output as shown on the PTS? Britney tests installability on i386 first, and may short-cut without testing any other arches, so it often doesn't list other arches but they do matter. GNOME maintainers have uploaded a new src:meta-gnome3 today though addressing this (thanks).
