For external reasons (see -private@), I can't look into this diff right now; I don't think it makes sense to wait for me to review the changes, so please go ahead with an unblock-udeb. It's relatively easy to revert to old versions to double check what happens if some regressions are detected, so we'll go that route if needs be. Mraw, KiBi.
