first changelog line. (Because dput-ng wouldn't let me upload).

(Also in general we'd prefer that you get an ack before proceeding
with the upload.)
Ack. Sorry about that. I thought for fixing a grave RC bug it would be
ok. Next time, I'll seek for pre-approval.
No worries. In this case it looks fine from a quick glance (I'll look
properly when I next do a p-u catchup), it's just that if there are any
issues then we end up having to reject the package and round-trip back
to the submitter and it's generally easier for both parties if we agree
on the diff first.
