Ping? Is there anyone from the stable release team that could spend a bit of time here? This has a direct influence on the cloud image which we are releasing on each point release, and it is IMO a bad image for Debian if we can't fix this problem. Also, the proposed solution (as a reminder, it is: add a few .service files, because systemd doesn't handle sysv-rc script boot dependencies in a manner which would work with the rest of the boot chain) is IMO very reasonable.
