I think debootstrap uses that as it could be bootstrapping a different distribution to what is installed. Could you re-test your scenario from #748082 using apt-offline git? It should work without using /usr/share/keyrings since it now looks at /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d too. -- bye, pabs https://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
