Dear release team, a significant number of packages cannot be cross built to mipsel, because their version of zlib1g is different. Even though there are a number of packages version skews, zlib is unique in that it affects very many reverse dependencies (~3000). Please consider bumping its version to make cross build testing feasible again. nmu zlib_1:1.2.8.dfsg-2+b1 . amd64 arm64 armel armhf i386 powerpc ppc64el . unstable . -m "bump to +b2 for Multi-Arch" If nmuing another package is ok, I'd suggest attr and bzip2: nmu attr_1:2.4.47-2 . amd64 arm64 armel armhf i386 powerpc ppc64el . unstable . -m "bump to +b1 for Multi-Arch" nmu bzip2_1.0.6-8 . amd64 arm64 armel armhf i386 powerpc ppc64el . unstable . -m "bump to +b1 for Multi-Arch" Thanks in advance Helmut
