Hi,
The following package is ready to be uploaded. I verified the points
listed on
http://wiki.debian.org/Teams/Ruby/Packaging#Requesting_Sponsorship.
ruby-classifier-reborn 2.3.0-1
New upstream release 2.3.0. Its upstream notes list only minor
enhancements, development fixes and documentation. I dropped the
Import-test-from-upstream patch because the tests are now part of the
upstream tarball, added the test dependencies pry,
ruby-minitest-reporters and ruby-redis, and added a patch and a
debian/gemspec symlink so that the tests run in a chroot without git.
The test dependency ruby-redis 6.0.0-2 is already in unstable.
Build and tests:
- The package builds with sbuild in an unshare chroot against current
unstable, with ruby-redis 6.0.0-2 and ruby-redis-client 0.31.0-1
installed from the archive. The tests pass and lintian passes. The
XS-Ruby-Versions deprecation warning remains in the build log.
- autopkgtest passes in a clean unstable chroot: 106 tests, 164
assertions, 0 failures, 0 errors and 34 skips. Of the 34 skips, 31 are
in the classes BayesianRedisTest (23) and BackendRedisTest (8). I have
not determined the reason for the other 3, in BayesianIntegrationTest
and LSITest.
- debian/watch works with uscan --download-current-version, and it finds
2.3.0.
