Back in September, Dennis asked why CPINT devices were not
retained across IPLs and Stefan responded that Debian uses devfs,
BUT that CPINT does not handle devfs.
Quite some time back, I cobbled-up an INIT script for CPINT
and offered it to Neale, but it never made it into the package.
See attached. It is also at

This is not as elegant w/r/t the whole modules and devfs game
but does get the job done. Enjoy!
