Have any of you tried using hercules? hercules is an s390/s390x emulation program that runs under Linux. You can use it, for example, to emulate an s390x machine on an amd64 Linux system, then run Linux for s390x under hercules. It's slow, due to the emulation, but it works. That's what Frans Pop used to do. hercules is free software, and it is pre-packaged for Debian and many other Linux distributions. If you have a Debian system, Issue "aptitude show hercules" for more information. -- .''`.
