Package: libptscotch-6.0
Version: 6.0.8-1~exp1
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Dear Maintainer,

   when linking a program, which uses slepc the followint error was issued:
   "/usr/bin/ld: warning: libptesmumps-6.so, needed by
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-linux-gnu/8/../../../x86_64-linux-gnu/libslepc.so, not
found"

   apt-file search gave:
   libptscotch-6.0: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libptesmumps-6.so

   however, instead of /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libptesmumps-6.so the file
installed is named /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libptesmumps-.so

   a simple rename: libptesmumps-.so -> libptesmumps-6.so solved the problem

regards,
winfried
