The build dependencies of opencv for packages built by src:gdcm are
incorrect and result in opencv to be BD-Uninstallable on a number
of architectures [1].
The reason for that is that gdcm has a build dependency on castxml which
itself depends on clang which is not available on all architectures [2].
Architectures with clang support are:
- amd64
- arm64
- armel
- armhf
- i386
- mips64el
- mipsel
- ppc64el
- s390x
- hurd-i386
- powerpc
- ppc64
- riscv64
- sparc64
Architectures without clang support are:
- alpha
- hppa
- ia64
- kfreebsd-amd64
- kfreebsd-i386
- m68k
- sh4
- x32
Please note that m68k and x32 will be supported by clang in the near
future (x32 currently lacks one patch in LLVM 11.0.1, m68k support
is being upstreamed at the moment). For now, however, please treat
m68k and x32 as if these architectures don't support clang.
Thus, please exclude all gdcm dependencies for the architectures that
do *not* support clang and add gdcm as a dependencies for architectures
that *do* support clang (such as ppc64 which currently have !ppc64
for libvtkgdcm-dev).
