Dear maintainer(s),
Python reports the package as being version 0.0.0, since
use_scm_version is removed, but no version is set as shown in
https://packaging.python.org/guides/single-sourcing-package-version
Instead of adding another patch to handle that, I believe the better
solution would be to drop the removal of setuptools-scm as it is in
Debian and supported by pybuild.
