Dear Colleague,

As you are probably aware of, beneficiaries of H2020 projects as well as
subcontractors are subject to Audits and Checks from the Commission’s Internal
Audit Service unit, the European Court of Auditors and OLAF for up to five
years after their projects' completion.

Working with numerous projects, we have noticed that often beneficiaries are
unprepared to deal with an unexpected inspection when receiving a Letter of
Announcement and we have repeatedly observed totally preventable mistakes to
cause administrative and financial penalties.

In European Academy we worked with former Auditors of the European Commission
to develop the course on "FinancialAdministration & Auditing Preparation for
E.C. Funded Projects" to specifically address the needs of project managers,
accountants, financial officers, controllers and anyone else who on a daily
basis has to document and keep detailed information on how they spend public
European money.
