I haven't spotted any issue on the (official) build daemons.
For the record: Neither have I on my unofficial archive rebuilds. In fact, the data which I collect by monitoring /proc/meminfo during the build supports that this package is not particularly memory-hungry. This package used to require 3500 MB to build in a 2-CPU system before the change in 5.13.4-1, and 2500MB after that. Still very far away from other packages like graph-tool, which created problems for both Lucas and me: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1042029
Could you please only enable with --no-parallel for the cases where there are actual out-of-memory issues?
I would just drop --no-parallel as a first option. If there are really issues we might better investigate about them. Thanks. -- debian-science-maintainers mailing list [email protected] https://alioth-lists.debian.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/debian-science-maintainers
