When typing file names in gnuplot, one can press tab to auto-complete the file name. This is a very nice feature. However, since an upgrade (not particularly recent), the file name is automatically followed by a space. Gnuplot requires that the file name be followed by a quotation mark. So the user must remove the space for every single file. Reverting to the previous behavior (no automatic space after file name) would be a big improvement. Even better would be if auto-completion automatically inserted a quotation mark followed by a space after the file name.

This bug may be readline related.
