Source: gmsh Version: 2.8.5+dfsg-1.1 I was unable to build this from source on amd64. It went wrong near the end:
make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/gmsh/gmsh-2.8.5+dfsg/debian/build' dh_install -O--buildsystem=cmake -O--builddirectory=/tmp/gmsh/gmsh-2.8.5\+dfsg/debian/build -O--parallel dh_install: libgmsh2 missing files (usr/lib/*/libjava-gmsh.so.*), aborting debian/rules:12: recipe for target 'binary' failed (There are files called "libjava-gmsh.so" but nothing with the version suffix.) It went wrong in exactly the same way, right at the end, when I tried building on arm64 (for which I did "perl -i -pe 's/ amd64 / amd64 arm64 /;' debian/control" before running "dpkg-buildpackage -b").
