Package: paraview
Version: 3.14.1-1
Severity: normal
Using the "Edit Color Map..." option on a Slice causes paraview to hang on my
computer:
After loading a file, create a new Slice filter (Filters → Alphabetical →
Slice). Click on "Apply", then switch to the "Display" tab and choose "Edit
Color Map..." (might have to choose something for "Color by" first).
Paraview will no longer react on anything and the following message is visible
in the terminal used to start paraview:
-----
X Error: BadLength (poly request too large or internal Xlib length error) 16
Extension: 135 (Uknown extension)
Minor opcode: 1 (Unknown request)
Resource id: 0x3c04756
-----
Please note that I run paraview in a Debian unstable chroot. The rest
including the X server runs under Ubuntu 11.10.
Regards,
Ansgar
