Package: ngspice
Version: 26-1+b1
Versions of related packages:
elyxer 1.2.5-1
lyx 2.1.4-2
lyx-common 2.1.4-2
Building ngspice from source fails with the error "No information for
exporting the format HTML.", generated by 'lyx --export html' in the
documentation build stage.
This is because, despite installing elyxer to comply with the ngspice
Build-Depends, lyx remains unaware that it is available. Running
'dpkg-reconfigure lyx' and 'dpkg-reconfigure elyxer' did not help.
The answer turned out to be to select "Tools -> Reconfigure" from
within the lyx GUI. Having done this, building ngspice succeeds and
the generated HTML documentation seems to be fine.
The proper solution would therefore seem to be to invoke that same
option by means of a command in the elyxer/lyx postinst script, but
since I know zip about lyx I have no idea how this might be achieved.
I am not sure where to report this bug because it is an FTBFS of one
package caused by a configuration error involving two other packages.
Please reassign if this is felt appropriate.

Version: 27-1
Hi,
I consider this to be fixed now that version 27-1 made it to testing without a
dependency
on elyxer, which got removed from testing and unstable along the way.
Cheers,
Sven
