Ciao Marco, I was not able to install (dpkg -i pkg-name) your packages for some problems in the dependencies.
I have also compiled from the sources pkgs at http://anakonda.altervista.org/ and I obtained that GTKAgg and TkAgg work with pyhton shell. With ipython shell only TkAgg works, and GTKAgg gives segmentation faluts. I have not the WX backend because I have not the WX lib in my computer. To compile TkAgg backend you need the Tk development packages. Ciao, Andrea.
