There is available a program to calculate range and stopping powers of ions in materials. The shared library contains two functions passage() and egassap() that can be used to calculate the energy loss of an ion (e.g. a projectile, fission fragment or alpha particle) suffers after passage through an absorber (e.g. target, foil, detector layers), or vice-versa.
