I think these are pretty much the same thing too. In the USA you get a
degree in anthropology and on the other side of the pond you get a
degree in archaeology.
I can see your point, given that they're often collocated in the same
departments with the same faculty teaching them. [This does occasionally
cause problems: sometimes you find anthro located in sociology
departments as well, in smaller institutions (where there is usually no
archaeology taught...).]
My suggestion, I suppose, is that debian-science-anthropology is most
appropriate.
If someone later comes along and gripes loudly that it is so wrong to be
mixing software that studies human social migration with software that is
to manage dig sites.... well, they can advocate for change. :)
