I've just addes a link from the debian science wiki [1] to DebianGis - and I noticed that science-geography metapackage [2] was almost, but not entirely, identical to the DebianGis metapackage [3] (the latter doesn't included Postgresql-8.3-postgis).
It is true that the DebianGis metapackage isn't actually mentioned on the DebianGis wiki page, but it still seems suboptimal if the two get out of sync.
