Levmar provides GPL native ANSI C implementations of the Levenberg-Marquardt optimization algorithm, usable also from C++, Matlab, Perl and Python. Both unconstrained and constrained (under linear equations and box constraints) Levenberg-Marquardt variants are included. Currently, Debian package hugin contains a copy of the levmar sources and it's also needed for new version of meshlab.
