Shaun Jackman is seeking for help by getting the preconditions for a
Genomics Viewer packaged. Perhaps some people here might be interested.
The Debian Java team might provide help but will not really push the
issue foreward.

I don't think so. But you are welcome to join the Java packaging team
and start packaging colt. I am sure there are people that can help you
if you have questions.
