Hello, I have uploaded my work on packaging the new version 1.11 of mathgl to the git repository . The binaries build but I get lintian errors for the shared libraries of the form
E: libmgl5: binary-or-shlib-defines-rpath ./usr/lib/libmgl.so.5.0.0 /tmp/buildd/libhdf4-4.2r4/HDF4/hdf/src/.libs E: libmgl5: binary-or-shlib-defines-rpath ./usr/lib/libmgl.so.5.0.0 /tmp/buildd/libhdf4-4.2r4/HDF4/mfhdf/libsrc/.libs ...... I think that this problem appears in this last version because upstream has introduced "Add possibility to read HDF4 files in mglData", as written in the Changelog.txt. I cannot find a solution for these errors so any suggestion, help, trial or correction of the packaging is appreciated. Also I cannot create the compressed delta file and I get $ pristine-tar gendelta mathgl_1.11.orig.tar.gz - tar: mathgl-1.11/png/Makefile.am: Cannot stat: Not a directory tar: mathgl-1.11/png/hotdogs.pts: Cannot stat: Not a directory tar: mathgl-1.11/png/Makefile.in: Cannot stat: Not a directory tar: Exiting with failure status due to previous errors /usr/bin/pristine-tar: command failed: tar cf /tmp/pristine- tar.Fny68HuSQk/recreatetarball --owner 0 --group 0 --numeric-owner -C /tmp/pristine-tar.Fny68HuSQk/workdir --no-recursion --mode 0644 --files-from /tmp/pristine-tar.Fny68HuSQk/manifest because mathgl-1.11/png is a symbolic link to a directory and not an actual directory.
