Is this explanation in some of the science metapackage descriptions really necessary?
Please note that packages listed as "recommended" may not be installed by default, and that packages listed as "suggested" will not be installed unless the user asks for them to be installed. $ apt-cache search "packages listed as" science-astronomy-dev - Debian Science Astronomy-dev packages science-engineering-dev - Debian Science Engineering-dev packages science-mathematics-dev - Debian Science Mathematics-dev packages science-meteorology-dev - Debian Science Meteorology-dev packages science-nanoscale-physics-dev - Debian Science Nanoscale Physics development packages science-nanoscale-physics - Debian Science Nanoscale Physics packages The package description seems to be the wrong place to be instructing users on the difference between Recommends and Suggests. Moreover, the same is true of every metapackage with a combination of suggests and recommends, not just the ones listed here ... I don't really think we want the same explanation copied everywhere.
