I fully agree wit this proposal. Debian and Debian Science deserve being
recognized in the field of scientific computing.

I would be happy to help in this endeavor.

As to my research all the numerical results we display are done on Debian
machines. I haven't found anything else as rich and robust  software wise
for scientific computing.
