I have been packaging a new version of ngspice and changing the copyright
file to the new format but there is a problem.
The main license for ngspice is the same as for spice3f5, BSD see here:

but I don't know the type
BSD-2-clause, BSD-3-clause, BSD-4-clause
and the licensing text doesn't fit any of them but it is word by word
compatiple with the MIT Modern license

Does anyone know the best way forward?
