Paulo Andrade has done a ton of work packaging Sage for Fedora (1), which is currently available as an experimental yum repository (2)

Though we are currently preparing to change the spkg system and switch to git at the same time, and I'm not sure if we are going to be finished by the time GSoC starts. Maybe we'll know more after the SageDays-Git next week...
