I think yes. But you should also add "dfsg" into the version number,

I'll turn whatever_3.14.orig.tar.bz2 into whatever_3.14+dfsg.orig.tar.bz2.

I intend to:
(1) put the debian directories aside,
(2) nuke the repositories,
(3) recreate empty ones,
(4) git-import-orig the dfsg sources
(5) put back the debian directories.

We loose history, but there's not much in it.

Is that ok?
