Hi Bill, thanks, that's awesome! I just want to point out that the Debian package guava should be considered orphaned at the moment and I have no idea if it's still working. Since it was packaged by Tim Abbott I guess it was somewhat for Sage, but I don't know why it should be more important for Sage than any other GAP package. So I suggest either you or someone else take it or we remove it from the archive.
