Feel free to skip mentors.debian.net by injecting the packaging into Debian Science VCS and profiting from https://wiki.debian.org/DebianPureBlends/SoB I (and probably other sponsors from Debian Science) will build the package based on the state in VCS and ignore what is uploaded on mentors.
