So -- with the boost to compat 9 dh_pysupport is not called
automatically

Also -- that is the point of calling dh_pysupport and having ${python:Depends}
to not specify those python and python-pysupport depends manually as it
is now.
Sorry, I did get that sentence. Would you suggest to remove ${python:Depends} for the dependencies? That solves to lintian error, but I though it is a general dependency for even python-library.

The other warning from the newest lintian version are fixed. I hope it is not too bad, to make a lintian override for the "image-file-in-usr-lib" warning.

Best,
Oliver

Also -- worth looking into other lintian errors -- shame on me that I
haven't checked before uploading -2 :-/

  Hi,

  just one quick additional note: Please use "Priority: optional". The
  rationale is discussed in several threads and documented in team policy.

  I would also (strongly) recommend debhelper compat level 9 - but the
  NeuroDebian people might have their reason to derive from this advise.
  indeed -- 9 should be fine for all the reasonable backports... sorry that I
  have missed that ;)
