Dear all, I just uploaded vtk7 to unstable and I think it is time to think about what should remain of vtk6.
IMHO we should drop java, tk/tcl language bindings, remove the -doc and -example packages and only provide the library and -dev packages, and the python2 bindings (for now), because the VTK python 2 bindings have some reverse dependencies and I don't know how the state is to port these to python3. If nobody objects I would prepare this stripped upload soon. best, Gert
