PolyML has a new upstream release that has been out for awhile. Could be get it bumped, i'd be happy to send a patch. I'm trying to understand this whole process for contributing to Debian and it is admittedly a little convoluted. It seems like there are many entry points, and im not entirely sure which entry point is the correct one.
