If this doesn't work I have a .gpgrc that I source from .muttrc that'll let
you do what you want as well as autodownload the keys you don't have, check
the sigs, and import keys quite nicely. Add to this my procmail recipes (not
written by me) that keep the information sane so that mutt / gpg can
understand them and you are golden.
If all else fails there's exmh2.
