This showed up this morning with a couple of others (lftp, screen), so I did apt-get update ; apt-get upgrade. That picked up the others but not ethereal. Why is that? I had ethereal installed, though I've never used it. It was easily sorted out with apt-get install ethereal; I just wonder why it didn't come along with the other two updates. -- Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.
