I do strongly disagree with his personal thoughts, but I must grant him the right to be whatever as*#§$ he likes. Be it so. Just one more point: I think, keeping politics and extremist declarations outside Debian also means, that he/we should not declare such thoughts using official debian mail-addresses. Using corporate addresses means assigning those declarations to debian and thus putting politics _inside_ debian. So, feel free and feel encouraged to participate in political discussion and decision-making, but make sure to do this with your private address or make shure, that your opinion is supported by the community. Using corporate mail for disclaiming thoughts contrary to corporate politics/views is - iirc - good reason for lay off in all countries.
