Package: snapshot.debian.org
Severity: wishlist
Hello,
Since the case of Debian packages does not matter, it would be nice to have
snapshot.debian.org doing a case insensitive search.
For example:
http://snapshot.debian.org/package/Instantbird/
=> 404
While
http://snapshot.debian.org/package/instantbird/
works
Thanks,
Sylvestre

I'm going to call this wontfix, as I don't know where this "case does
not matter" claim comes from.
Policy says:
Package names (both source and binary, see Package) must consist only
of lower case letters ("a-z"), digits ("0-9"), plus ("+") and minus
("-") signs, and periods (".")
which doesn't support that claim.
http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/GlIbC/ also doesn't exist.
Cheers,
Julien
