Try Debian-Installer (sarge isos have it), i've install several
machine (sorry, only x86) on raid 1 using it, the only problem was
that before reboot you have to add raid1 on /etc/mkinitrd/modules and
then rebuilt the initrd image on the target disk, maybe the bug was
solved :-)
