The FCAL disks require the socal driver. This driver doesn't work unless you built it with proprietary microcode that has to be extracted from the Solaris socal driver. Pretty much means we cannot distribute a working driver without break the Sun license on the microcode.
You'll have to rebuild the kernel. Read the help section in the kernel config for the socal driver, and do some searching on the internet afterwards for help in converting the microcode properly.
