other Sparcstations out able to get this working? Thanks.

Hi,

The network card drivers were compiled into the kernel in woody, but are provided as separate modules in sarge. Most probably, your network card is sunlance, so to make it work it should be sufficient to run the command 'modprobe sunlance'. To make it available after every boot you either need to add 'sunlance' to the /etc/modules file or install automatic hardware detector, such as discover1.
