I'm Davide Barbieri <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, or <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (the last one seems to have mail problems). I had the account on master.debian.org for debian sparc porting. I had written a little document in sgml, about the status of debian sparc porting, and I have posted it some times ago on this list. I have also build some debian packages for sparc, and have put them on my sparc/linux machine: test.dei.unipd.it. These packages are available via anonymous ftp on the same machine. Sorry, but I wasn't able to put them on master (slow connection). These packages were simply recompiled on sparc/linux using the sources available from debian. I have build a libc5-5.2.13.deb for sparc/linux but haven't test yet. I'm working also on boot-floppies and SILO packages for Debian Sparc. I'm also studying a gcc-2.7.2 package. This is the result of dpkg -l on my machine: Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge | Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++-===============-==============-============================================ iU autoconf 2.10-3 automatic configure script builder. ii automake 1.0-1 A tool for generating GNU Standards-complian ii boot-floppies 1.2.1 Scripts to create the Debian installation fl ii cpio 2.4.2-8 GNU cpio -- a program to manage archives of ii debmake 1.95 Development environment for Debian Sourcepac rc dejagnu 1.3-5 framework for running test suites on softwar ii dialog 0.9a-8 Displays user-friendly dialog boxes from she ii diff 2.7-13 File comparison utilities ii doc-debian 1.3-0 Debian Manual, FAQ and other documents ii dpkg 1.4.0.3 Package maintenance system for Debian Linux ii dpkg-dev 1.4.0.5 Package building tools for Debian Linux ii gzip 1.2.4-14 The GNU compression utility. ii hdparm 3.1-2 Tune hard disk parameters for high performan ii journal 1-2 Scripts to install an on-line magazine rc latex 2e-7 Write structured documents with TeX ii libc5 5.3.12-17 Converted RPM package ii manpages 1.11-7 Section 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, and 9 manpages ii manpages-it 0.1b-2 Italian section 1, 5, 7, and 8 manpages ii paridoc 1.39.03-5 The documentation and examples for the PARI ii pgp-i 2.6.3-2 Public key encryption system (International ii pj-base 1-1 PLUTO JOURNAL: Italian OnLine Magazine ii pj96n04 1-1 Issue 4 (May-Jun) of PLUTO JOURNAL 1996, the ii pj96n05 2-1 Issue 5 (Jul-Aug) of PLUTO JOURNAL 1996, the ii pj96n06 2-2 Issue 6 (Sep-Oct) of PLUTO JOURNAL 1996, the ii pj96n07 1-1 Issue 7 (nov-Dec) of PLUTO JOURNAL 1996 (in ii sed 2.05-11 The GNU sed stream editor. ii sudo 1.5.2-1 Provides limited super user privileges to sp bye -- Davide Barbieri * Direttore editoriale PLUTO Journal - Linux Magazine [EMAIL PROTECTED] * http://www.dei.unipd.it/it/linux/pluto/journal -- TO UNSUBSCRIBE FROM THIS MAILING LIST: e-mail the word "unsubscribe" to [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
