At least I think it's a new package, it's not on ftp.debian.org, anyway. I have it at home.broudy.net:/pub/debian/ if anyone wants to test it out. Is it appropreate to announce that to this list? How do I go about submiting it to ftp.debian.org for the world to enjoy?
