Well, actually, the intel versions of libc6 is 2.0.7pre. (while we're on a pre of 2.1) But anyway, it does rather sound like my problems are specific to my machine (which I doubt) or to the SS2 or 4c architectures. To satisfy my curiousity, would you execute the following on your machine: md5sum /usr/bin/ldd /lib/libc-2.0.93.so ..but I'm clutching at straws. *yawn* Jules /----------------+-------------------------------+---------------------\ | Jelibean aka | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | 6 Evelyn Rd | | Jules aka | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Richmond, Surrey | | Julian Bean | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | TW9 2TF *UK* | +----------------+-------------------------------+---------------------+ | War doesn't demonstrate who's right... just who's left. | | When privacy is outlawed... only the outlaws have privacy. | \----------------------------------------------------------------------/ -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
