Well...I did an apt-get dist-upgrade the other day... Now Apt is broken...I understand this is because of libstdc++2.9 ??
I got apt and tried to recompile it (as was suggested) but it wont build...
it dies during configure. Has anyone else tried? I will re-unpack it
and come up with a log of the error if anyone wants.
